I use that part (and its one long sibling) for a LOT of things including roofs
but haven't tried sideways yet. I like roofs that come off, at least for
passenger service, so that would be a consideration too.
I don't see that part as any easier to get in large quantities, when I have to
buy them I seem to always spend about 50 cents a piece for them. But ya. good
idea.
