I have trouble accepting the destruction of a perfectly good 9V motor so I guess
I will not be making many of these. Unless of course I stumble across a few
'dead' motors!!
My best 12Volt locos have two motors so the power pick-up bogey has to go under
a following vehicle. This is no problem with the steamers as the 9V bogey does
not look too bad under a coal tender but is real weird under a passenger coach.
My 4-4-4 steamer (a configuration of which I have only been able to find one in
real life, a CPR model) has the 9Volt motor under the tender where it looks
just right.
I think I must be rather dim but how can I get my pictures where anyone can see
them?

My biggest qualm is the lack of 'fake middle wheel' expandability for 3 wheel power bogeys to emulate newer NA locos. Right (...) (21 years ago, 26-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains)
