The model intends to have working three-point headlamps.

I believe that a <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=154085

ribbing along the sides.  While I do not have this custom modified brick
installed now, I have used it in the past on this

Thanks for looking.
later,

Very well done, James, I may find myself building this model too, we have the
real thing running by the house (oh well, about 500 yards away that is) a few
times a day, very well done representation of the real locomotive that is
rented by Railion for use on the lines to/from the Dutch Steel Works at
IJmuiden...

Greetz,
  Anton

This is indeed a great train, both the real thing and James' model are very
impressive. Instead of half tracks I would love Lego to make 3 axle motors
(again), doesn't have to be a driven axle althrough that would help the traction
for some trains.

I also LOVE the UP car. I see James has borrowed some techniques from the SF
cars ;-) and love to see a complete set of cars. And a loc. Maybe an idea for
MTW or Brikworx to sell? As far as I can see there are no hard-to-get-parts
(yet).

Jeroen

(...) Jeroen is right, James, that UP car is awesome too and most definetely needs other cars AND a locomotive! A bunch of GP-38's...? :-) Greetz, Anton (21 years ago, 13-Aug-03, to lugnet.trains)
