Re: Super Chiefs all gone? —Troy Cefaratti
I called US Shop-At-Home this morning and they verified for me that they are still on thier initial shipment of Super Chiefs, meaning that they are the Limited Edition ones. They are limiting orders to 3 per person. As I have already purchased 24, (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Nope. They are checking agianst all orders. I tried to order 2 more (after my initial 4) and was rejected. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (22 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Super Chiefs all gone? —Cary Clark
(...) OK, then I should have said: Sometimes, at the utter discretion and whimsy of the person answering the phone at S@H, you can order 3 more after your initial order. It worked for me today. (22 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: The Free Super Chiefs —James Trobaugh
Wow you must be so proud of your dad, he's taught you all kind of good lessons today. First how to try and get around the system, how to make threats to get your way and how to steal.       (...) Oh James, I think that's too harsh. Working around the system, yes - I'll agree with that.           Re: The Free Super Chiefs —Jude Beaudin
(...) LD is attempting to limit the release of the *Limited Edition* so every one has a chance to get a unique train. They are planning on releasing a non-LE version that you can buy a gazillion of if you wish. This I think is very fair. Jude (22 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)
