Hi

Despite the fact that I play with trains all day at work I have finally
given up resisting the lure of Lego ones.  I have just taken delivery of a
Small My Own Train and a wagon plate kit so I can look into how it all works
and I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.

I've built the loco but there are no instructions for the wagon plate and I
can't seem to work out how the coupling piece should be mounted.  To be
correct it ought to mount to the base but there is no way of doing that.  Is
it supposed to go on the bogie?

How are you supposed to use the 2x6 plate to fix the wheelsets together?
I've put it so there is a 2 stud gap between the wheelsets and then put the
bogie plate on top.  It looks inelegant and there needs to be another plate
on top of the 2x6 to make it secure.  Am I missing something?

Whichever way I mount the coupling it doesn't line up with the coupling on
the loco.  As the loco is on a plate thickness base and the wagon base is a
2-plate thick strange thing I can't work out what is right.

Any pointers gratefully recieved.

Psi

(...) Just take a look at the instruction of 2126. It works with the same design, that you should use. (URL) Regards, Ben My homepage: (URL) no. 1 building contest: (URL) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains)
