I'll field this question :o) Those plates you listed are medium rare, pretty hard to come by these days, but don't worry!For starters, if you're building a freight car that's only that long, just build it with normal plates and stick two wheel sets (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

I've been trying to build some MOC traincars, mostly freight, and wondered what people use for their bases? Especially for hopper cars. I can't seem to find any of those nice bases (plates) with cutouts. (URL) you just build them up out of plates, (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

I have a question for all the LTCs that have had "kid play areas" on thier layouts. This summer we at the NGLTC had a section that the kids were allowed to drive the trains, and this October we're planning on going a steop futher and having a full (...)
