Re: A couple of pictures of the GMLTC layout at Carlsbad

(...) Cool. Thanks for the uploads... Looks like not all the modules went? Much of the yard seems missing (the distance between the car shop (grey building on left) and roundhouse (red building on right) seems somewhat shorter than when at the NMRA. (...)   A couple of pictures of the GMLTC layout at Carlsbad

Ok, so I took the plunge and uploaded two (of the >200 I took) pictures from when we displayed our layout at LEGOLAND Carlsbad: (URL) for the *huge* file sizes, my 3.3megapixel camera takes BIG pictures, and I don't have the software here at work to (...) (...) The OCX and source code links are higher up; sorry! (URL) haven't tried running 2; I've (sadly) only got 1. I don't see why it would be a problem, though. In the end, you've got the C++ source code for the OCX, so you should be able to do (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Planning on a new History of LEGO Windows....

Hi Guys, I have several LEGO boxes of just white windows. Each came with only one size each 1x1x1, 1x2x1, 1x3x2, & 1x4x2. The boxes measure about 1"x4"x6" and have pictures on the front of Kirk and his sister as childern playing with LEGO. I don't (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Planning on a new History of LEGO Windows....

(...) Thanks Ben. That would make version 5. But I assume version 5 only applies to the 1x2x2 windows, since none of the others have been made in the 1990's? (Or were they?). Maybe what I should say, rather than "they don't exist" (for classic (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Re: multi train dogbone

Thanks Jeff! Really cool! But I can't find the .OCX link Some questions: Have you run 2 CLabs from one PC? from one application? that would proivide 16 INs/16 OUTs! Also have you pulsed the trains via the CLab, the speed control granularity is (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Steve, Sure have! Here's a URL; you're looking for Lego.ocx, but all the docs & descriptions are there, too. I'm not sure that *all* of the functionality works flawlessly, but certainly most of it does. You need Windows. (URL) used it to (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Planning on a new History of LEGO Windows....

(...) The problem is you can't poof that anything doesn't exist, but it is extremely improbable.... (BTW: do white motor baseplates exist? Do 12-spoked classic trainwheels exist? Both are shown in several idea books and building instructions (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Planning on a new History of LEGO Windows....

Thanks Ben, I wasn't sure, but I thought that the 1x1x1 and 1x1x2 in black did not exist. That leaves only the 1x1x2 and the 1x2x2 as existing classic black windows/doors. I believe that the gray 1x2x3 classic door does NOT exist in gray. There was (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Why do we (BAYLTC) want to display?

I like the angled sensor idea also. As for my delayed sensor, I actually had two sensors and both had to be cleared, I figured the odds of two gaps over the sensors would be pretty rare. Do note that my sensors were (are) Radio Shack light sensors (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)
