  A real live working LEGO Shelf railway...
 
Well I am here to announce that I have completed the structural portion of a shelf railway in our soon-to-be baby's nursery. All the details you need are on the web page but rest assured that this is a working and powered LEGO railway not just a (...) PNLTC members, There has not been any news recently on the PNLTC/LEGO Guinness record event in Seattle, Washington. What’s going on, is there anything new to report? We actually didn't buy a fire resistant cloth, my wife had it treated at a local dry cleaners. The national show required it of us before we could display last summer. (...) Down here in Florida, we used the cheapest fabric we can find (WalMart $1 Yard). Non of the shows we do require us to use fire retardant skirts. (...) We use 30 inch high plexiglass and we don’t stop there we put a roof on top and a wall in (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) It adds to the look. It _should_ be fire-retardant. If you are going out to buy it, (and have the $$$) I would get fire-retardant material. Otherwise, ask at the store you get the material from, (me thinks it is Borax you wash it in, and (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

I had another idea today while I was....ahh...standing around. A square technic beam may be able to hold the coupler straight. If a peg is place in the hole second (maybe the first hole would work to) from the end of the beam in pull mode the peg (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)
