John,
How high off the ground is the track on y'alls layout? Since ours is just at
30" on plywood the little one seem to have no trouble reaching up and
touching. It's not the older kids (4-12) but the wee ones (2-3) that seem to
want to touch and pick things up. (including my 3 y/o) But we did find at
the last show that since we had a area the kids could interact some (drive a
train) that they were less touchy of the rest of the layout.
