Down here in Florida, we used the cheapest fabric we can find (WalMart $1
Yard). Non of the shows we do require us to use fire retardant skirts.

We use 30 inch high plexiglass and we dont stop there we put a roof on top
and a wall in the back. No one can touch anything (just us from the back), in
fact we can walk around and talk to the visitor with out watching everyone
like a hawk.

We dont use rope barrier.

| We actually didn't buy a fire resistant cloth, my wife had it treated at a local dry cleaners. The national show required it of us before we could display last summer. I don't know why we never really have problems with people destroying the layout. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)
