Rich, Well apart from the Lego situation its a very nice place. If you ever want a place where you can visit and just think about lego without actually having any, It'd be perfect. I just wanted to drop a reminder once again that the North Georgia LEGO Train Club will be presenting at the NMRA Piedmont Division Show this weekend (March 11th & 12th). Here in Australia, Lego Trains are a joke. Seeing this thread made me register from my Work PC. The newest Offering from Lego (the blue thing that isnt sure of what it is exactly) costs RRP of $350 from Lego themselves, the cheapest I've seen is on (...) I don't imagine that you would manage to build a hump yard except on a 'special' table, so the mounting wouldn't be impossible, but they would work OK I think for use as retarders. (...) It's a long trek, but I think I'd come to Minneapolis to see a 2200' train layout. And if I came, I'd certainly bring my 60' of straight track. Y'know, I think there's enough people out there with 10' or more of straight track, that this *could* be (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
