  Re: First Meeting of NOVALTC!

(...) ...Hmmmm... The folding legs would be nice, may have to investigate once I get the initial tables built. My observation at the moment is how to make track loops on it. The width of the table is just at the curvature of the track, so I'm having (...) (25 years ago, 22-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Anyone know who stocks LEGO train track in Southern California?

You could try LEGOLAND California, I don't know where it is exactly in California, but no normal LEGO retailer in the US has carried Train tracks, etc. since 1993-1994. I only get it at SAHS. Scott "Yes, I live in Michigan" Sanburn (...) (25 years ago, 21-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) At least year's 25th anniversary truck tour display, my wife spotted a Megablok 2x4 stuck on the large birthday cake model. I notified an employee- droid, who said, "... oh." and removed it after a bit. Well, I thought it was funny anyway. (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

PNLTC Tables - if you guys want to chat send us some mail. Ben Fleskes designed the tables and there has been several revisions. The size of the tables and the hole patterns on the side to bolt them together has remained the same as original plan (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) I agree. When I think stickers I think text, numbers, maybe some type of display screen (possibly), or a logo. I even like the credit card billboards I've seen. (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I found this out when I needed to put a clear and a trans-yel. 1x1 plate mounted on a 1x2 plate as vertical front turn signals/parking lights on the sculpted front fenders of a car, and this was the only way to keep this light assembly from (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  First Meeting of NOVALTC!

(...) The tiles in question run horizontally, but I totally agree that you need at least two studs if you're going vertical. My hopper uses two, both using the 1.2l halfpin/studs that Steve B. used. But your idea of side mounting a 1x1 with side (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Truck Trivia (was Re: Small new train web site

(...) I don't know if this has been mentioned before: if you want to hold a 2x plate/tile in place (particularly a vertical 2x1), a second row above the center-hole-beams with half-pegs is helpful/necessary; the one way I've found to do this is to (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: LEGOLAND trains

I agree with the sticker issue, however there is a fine line! I think stickers are OK if they only represent a logo, numbering or words. I don't think using stickers to mask colors and create stripes... is legit. In many of the model railroad decal (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)
