PNLTC Tables - if you guys want to chat send us some mail.
Ben Fleskes designed the tables and there has been several revisions. The size
of the tables and the hole patterns on the side to bolt them together has
remained the same as original plan and work very well. There has been (I
believe) 3 systems for legs. The original corner leg built from the salvage of
4'x8' sheet of ply wood, then to speed up setup time Ben redesigned a folding
leg set that fit (when folded) within the bottom interior of the table so they
would stack nicely for storage and transport. Unfortunately they are a bit
harder to build because they must fit together like a puzzle under the table
and tolerances are close. Then we tried regular foldout metal table legs using
short pipes to extend the legs. Dan would be a good resource about that.

| (...) ...Hmmmm... The folding legs would be nice, may have to investigate once I get the initial tables built. My observation at the moment is how to make track loops on it. The width of the table is just at the curvature of the track, so I'm having (...) (25 years ago, 22-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains.org)
