  My first train "creation"

OK, its not really a creation, but I didn't have any instructions 8?) This is the train on the back of the Australian 4561 box (dunno if it's on the US box). I think it's much nicer than the main model. I kept one of the long cars & built one short (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: I'm kinda sorta train voltage complete

(...) Ahh, but then I'd have to get a 7864... The only other 12V accessories I have are lamps. I did notice one thing, not sure if anyone else has actually tried (surely someone must have).   Re: I'm kinda sorta train voltage complete

(...) It isn't that hard to run 12V stuff using a 7864 transformer. All you need (besides the 7864) is a 110V->220V stepup transformer, which would run you $20-30.
