Re: Lego town set that never made the cut!

(...) Of course I'm entitled to my opinion. That's why I said it. But when you say the Town Jr. Wheels, I am not sure on what you're talking about. Does that include the wheels on, for example, the Octan Gas Transit Truck, the Indy Transport Truck, (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: I just don't understand people on eBay...

(...) I must say, your city sounds VERY nice. However, I couldn't help but pick this out. I'm sorry you paid $50 for the Riding Stable. If it wasn't for me, you would have had it for $16. As you see, I tried getting that set as well for my city. But (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Lego town set that never made the cut!

To add conversation to the missing hospital and Exxon gas station: wouldn't you love to see (OR HAVE) all of the sets from 1978 - 1986 that did not make the cut to be released? Just think of the possibilities that never happened! I wonder if they (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: I just don't understand people on eBay...

(...) I saw those auctions too and couldn't understand it, but it all depends on how badly someone wants something and the bidders at the time. A Metro Park & Service Tower goes anywhere from $90 to $210. I paid $130 for one MISB (off of eBay). (...) (25 years ago, 4-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

I just don't understand people on eBay...

What is up with some people? I am completely baffled by this one example. I'm starting to make my suburb and everything for my city, and of course, houses are a must. I bid on 3 6370's on eBay (and didn't get one) but there was one that was just in (...) (25 years ago, 4-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Ok...ok...ok....you got me there Michael ;-) Have you got a scan of this anywhere? I personally reckon that 6371 is one of the best Gas Stations so I'd love to see it in Exxon colours. Thanks Sanjay -- Millennium City @ (URL) (25 years ago, 4-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: Belville parts in town buildings - Silly? No!

Hi Brad! Glad you finally came to your senses <grin, duck, run> and realized the potential in the BV sets. I really don't think many of the Belville 'fans' that post here actually buy BV to work in a BV scale. (note - I said many, not all :) I don't (...) How much city are you going to build? I decided last year that my town would be long and skinny. That way it could be parked out of the way atop a bookshelf. Talk about Main Street! For now, I am trying to keep baseplates separable. One of my ideas (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)
