Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) You mean like this: (URL) was a litle short on red pieces, so what it gained on functionality it lost in looks. THis model is also a couple of studs longer than the original. My first design was the same length but used a belt drive which was (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

  Re: FJ Holden

(...) that makes two of us:) (...) Wow! Nice car...nice DETAILED car! I love the look of classic cars, but Lego is not ideally suited to do the curves, I thought. I was wrong. Really good job all around. I am really impressed. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) That was pretty much the image I was going with! I wanted a ship that reeked of power and do circles around anything else underwater...mostly:) "Ahnald"? Hm, might have to give the SeaHunter a nickname:) (...) Yep, you pretty much nailed the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: FJ Holden

(...) Allister, This is excellent! You captured the form of the FJ very well! I like the chrome fenders and grilles along with the SNOT hoodwork. Great addition to your auto-garage speciality shop! Keep it up! I would have posted last night but the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Abston Church of Christ hi-res images

(...) I've started to download MOC-images that appeal to me for the use in a wallpaper randomizer. A new random LEGO MOC wallpaper each day - sweet! Thanks! Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) Yep, those photos need some croppin' alright! (...) Would it be possible to reduce the links by one unit to tention them slightly? It craves for another motor and skid steering :) Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) What I like about it is the implied POWER in the wings ... they almost look like arms ... in "attack position" (I'm reminded of the Klingon BOP's wing manuverability here) it would certainly remind me of "Ahnald" coming in for the kill!!!!   Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks! The overall look of the SeaHunter was basically a) power, b) weapons, and c) power. This should be able to give a Manta a run for its money. The wings are really hinged because I douldn't make up my mind on how I wanted the wings, so (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  FJ Holden

Hi again. Cars cars cars - one day I must build a building. Inspired by Robert McLean's minifig HZ ute (whose mirror design I've also used here), and Braith's call to 'keep the Australiana coming', I built a minifig scale FJ Holden. This one became (...)   Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Joe, Yes, another great addition to the fleet! I like the overall shape of the craft...looks as if it's ready to take on a whole slew of squids! The hinged wings are a neat aspect to an already streamlined design. The drone looks good (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Abston Church of Christ hi-res images

I wrote you an email in response to this beautiful MOC. Do you happen to know if you got it? No need to respond to it if you dont want to. Just curious. I tried to explain how your MOC was impacting me. :) "Amy Hughes" <lugnews@amyhughes.org> wrote (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) Cool. (...) It's only moderately flimsy. It survived the 4 year old boy test reasonably well at least. Build one for yourself and you'll see ;) Allister (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) Here is a bunch of pics of it on the brickshelf gallery. Sorry if the images are big, I'm still a newbie with my camera and image software. Comments are appreciated! (URL) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) Nifty little car. Looking through the instuctions I see some great building techniques used in construction that I'll definitely be borrowing sometime. How is the model in terms of sturdiness? It looks flimsy in the instructions, but it's (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) I think it looks like a Bugeye Sprite with a hint of Porsche speedster (especially view bug.3). In any case it is a cute car! Maggie C. (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

  bug

Here's another 6-wide car. This one became a bit of an exercise in half stud offsets (once you start forever will it dominate your MOC), but I'm rather pleased with the result. I'm still in love with those curved bricks too. I'm not sure how this (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc)
