Your correct that the blanked in windows hide the exit stairwell. The
staircase follows a similar path as the fire escape and exits were the front
door is.
I got the idea for the rustication when I got the Blacksmith Shop and its 1x4
studs on the side bricks in gray. When I found out about the white versions I
figured I would give it a try. Actually lines up with the half studed
pilasters perfectly.
