PPS:  Is it me or are Townies becoming an endangered species?    I've only
ever met one other Townie who is as passionate about LEGO Town as I am.
I think they are, it seems that alot of the town pages are now down or haven't
been updated in a while (ie. David A Karr, Zachary Benz)and most of the people
who were townies have now either switched over to Castle, Space or CAD....l

Townies are not an endangered species!  (Although TLG hasn't been real helpful
with Town Jr.)

My town hasn't had many changes lately (been busy this summer), but I have a few
things in the pipeline.  I plan on building a new train station (not for LEGO
trains, but for an HO scale train layout - cuz I build on the Classic LEGO scale,
not the minifig scale).  The new station will be called CENTRAL STATION, and will
consist of twin 18 story towers flanking a large triple arched entryway (using
those large white half arches).  The station will contain a large shopping center
and midway, and a huge train shed.  I plan on using a lot of those 1x6x3 sloped
brick skylights that were common in 1980's LEGO firestations.  This train station
will be in white, with a red roof (low sloped bricks, regular sloped bricks, and
red tiles).

Another thing I plan on building (over the next year), are all 6 versions of the
1950's and 1960's Town Plan street scapes using the old Town Plan boards (#200 &
#246).
