I'm a townie now and forever. Although I've dabbled in train for my
one and only town/train layout I've ever built. Now I'm kind of
specialized building 6 wide LEGO fire trucks like I have been for the
last 2+ years now.
I'm not working on any kind of town layout anymore, I'm sticking to
individual vehicles. My current project is a pumper/tanker fire truck
for rural areas and a 6x6 military style brush truck.
I think that there are many other townies, including several that
"specialize" in fire trucks, that aren't even on LUGNET, most are
still only on RTL. Given the fact that many of them use AOL for their
primary ISP, perhaps the additional task of setting up a newsreader is
just too much trouble.

| (...) haven't (...) people (...) At lot of the trains people are really just 'townies' in disguise, look at many of the train sites and you will see just as much 'town' as you will 'train'. I'm going to spend the winter working on a bookshelf town (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)
