  Bohrok Speculation

The new Bohrok sets, as seen in Tim's scans at FBTB ((URL) reputed to be the "spiders" we have seen pre-production sketches of recently. Good, bad or Rahi...we don't know yet, but here's what I think I see: Exo-suits! Don't these look like armored (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I don't think you're on to something, if you look closely, they have the same size feet as the Toa, that gives you the size perspective, they look smaller than the Toa actually, but wider. I believe that they are Rahi. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) We'll need to wait for Tim to get us some better scans, but to me the feet don't look like the Toa feet at all...they look almost "built" (dare we hope for the integration of System pieces? Nah!). The storyline so far has different Rahi in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I dare say that those feet look small enough to fit in the slots underneath the Toa's feet... I like that idea. But how would it work for Pohatu? (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

From the pictures, it looks like the head is a clear canopy with coloured printing, and maybe an LOM Martian inside (or at least something coloured showing through that looks like an LOM Martian head)? Martin (Not Martian) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) Just remove the toe extentions (and maybe the pins on the outside of the legs?), I'd imagine. Matt (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) I agree here. In the hatching picture (URL) the upside-down flame looking object in front. Now look at Gahlok's weapons. (URL) think they are the same thing. I guess that tells us that these Bohrok guys, whatever they are, ball up. Cool. David (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

Hmmmm...that looks like Gahlok alright. But what does this have to do with "the truth"? What is "The Truth"? I still maintain that they are anti-toa. Tim (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) ((URL) are reputed to be the "spiders" we have seen pre-production sketches of (...) I see: (...) YES!! Exo-suits (...) There (...) ... but not for the Toa - they would be pretty big suits. Maybe for the Turaga or Tohunga? Look at the "canopy" (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

These are the 'spiders' not exo-suits, and in a way as someone said they are 'anti-Toa'. The canopy is too small for a Turaga or Tohunga. Haven't you heard the rumors? These are the six spiders, there will hopefully be more Bionicle sets coming in (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) how can these be spiders? they don't have 8 limbs legs.... (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I was chatting to the manager of the Legoland shop a couple of weeks ago, and she said she'd seen the new range (Bohrok) and that they come in a canister (like the Toa) but it's see-through, and that they roll along in a ball and then spring open. (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

hmm...spiders? not likely, but I'm glad they're anti-toa (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

Notice the " ' ' "'s around spiders(like this 'spiders'), meaning that these are the things that were RUMORED to be be spiders, but this is what they turned out as. Yes, I agree, they're not spiders, but technically, I never said that they were, (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

To me they look like little crabs... like Jim Henson's Mana Babies. Think of the zany adventures they'll have using only their imagination!   Re: Bohrok Speculation

I have heard about his from a friend who knows people in Lego too, although I don't remember if he said they roll along, but I also remember that at the time we were almost sure they were gonna be more spider-ish, and there was something about webs (...) (...) Spiders, Exo-suits, crabs, muppet babies (Toa babies - LOL!!) ..... all we can do is speculate for now. Anti-Toa, where did that one get started (yeah, yeah, I've heard all the rumors - and that's why I don't like rumors...people swear by (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

OOH! Did you hear the news? I have it on a reliable source that the Bohrok are sumo wrestlers! What an interesting twist in the Bionicle storyline...the Toa will enter the sumo ring with these robotic sumos and fight for their gold masks. Also, it (...) (...) Excellent!!! Boy am I glad to see that someone else has seen the true meaning of the Bohrok. Did you know they were a subcategory of the TWF (Toa Wrestling Federation) - that's right the Bohrok Sumos are also known as BS! Thanks Matt, you gave (...)   Re: Bohrok Speculation

(...) Fascinating. I can't discern what's going on with the head. There is a fat 20-tooth gear in its belly, though. The chassis seems to be a variation/amplification of the Tohunga chassis. The hands (is that left hand for throwing discs?), arms, (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Bohrok Speculation

I had an idea while going over the new update on boinicle.com. . . If the Toa Kaita fall to just the Manas what will happen when they face Makuta??? What if Makuta beats them then mabey the Bohrok have to pick up where the Toa failed. This is all (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
