The new Bohrok sets, as seen in Tim's scans at FBTB (http://www.fbtb.net/),
are reputed to be the "spiders" we have seen pre-production sketches of
recently. Good, bad or Rahi...we don't know yet, but here's what I think I see:
Exo-suits!
Don't these look like armored suits (mecha style) for the Toa to use? There
are as many of them as Toa, and the colors correspond too. They have a
"canopy" that looks like it might cover a cockpit of sorts. It would make
sense that the Toa could be "beefed-up" in this way, rather than introduce
new Toa, or what-have-you. This is basically what everyone has been doing in
theor MOCs, just in a more "playable" format.
So whaddaya' think? Might I be on to something here?

| I don't think you're on to something, if you look closely, they have the same size feet as the Toa, that gives you the size perspective, they look smaller than the Toa actually, but wider. I believe that they are Rahi. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

| I was chatting to the manager of the Legoland shop a couple of weeks ago, and she said she'd seen the new range (Bohrok) and that they come in a canister (like the Toa) but it's see-through, and that they roll along in a ball and then spring open. | I had an idea while going over the new update on boinicle.com. . . If the Toa Kaita fall to just the Manas what will happen when they face Makuta???
