  Re: Guess What....

(...) Aha! I got the interview request, too... and I hardly post here! So now I know how and why I was contacted, and here I was thinking the Washington Post had bugged my apartment. I'm expecting a call later today. Should be interesting...! (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: New Rahi Discovered

(...) In most of Europe, these are in thin mylar baggies, and so they can't be opened with nearly so little effort and they also can't be opened cleanly. I never even ONCE in .nl saw an opened Kanohi pack. Maybe on our side of the pond we need to (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: New Rahi Discovered

(...) Yeah, I've noticed that too. On the other hand, as long as they're like that I figure I may as well look inside the opened boxes myself, which will make it easier to get the masks I need. However, the other down side is kids opening the boxes, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: What is it with these infected masks?

(...) Grrr...20 packs and 4 Gali masks...no infecteds yet... (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Where did these names come from?

(...) That would be moai. Visit this page about Easter Island: (URL) is common Polynesian term for foul generally, and more specifically is borrowed from Maori name for an extinct ostrich-like bird! But see also Hawaiian manu (bird). Not to be (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Toa W/No CD?

I bought Onua and it did not come with a cd. The only Toa that did have a cd that i have bought is Pohatu. non of the others had it, so it is not a "rare" variant. Some cans have it and some do not. Each can is clearly marked cd or no cd. Whats so (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Toa W/No CD?

This is very strange... I picked up a set of Toa the other day and two of them (Galli and Lewa) didn't come with the 3" CD like the others. I turned the can over and there is no indication on the canister that they are supposed to come with a CD (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: New Rahi Discovered

(...) Correctamundo, Scott! This is especially annoying when you consider that the mask packs seem to be in short supply in the first place. I was so irked by these goings on that I actually brought the TRU store manager over to where the kids were (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  New Rahi Discovered

I have discovered a new most vile creature, by far the worst agent of Makuta ever experienced. I have yet to see this monster, however I am sure it is hideously ugly and fowl smelling. This creature is elusive, however it does have an unusual type (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
