Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's? —Tom Inosanto
Ok, I went to Legoland today and got the LL exclusive mask, I figured I needed something to use it with, so I got a few of the small sets, and 2 of the bigger in-a-can sets. When I got them home and put them togehter, I started to wonder how would (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

I guess it would have helped if i put it in the correct subgroup :)~ The question still stands.... In lugnet.technic, Tom Inosanto writes: Ok, I went to Legoland today and got the LL exclusive mask, I figured I needed something to use it with, so I (...)       Sure, it's possible. Just like it's possible to do with Throwbots. I have one posted at (URL) a simple example. There are miscellaneous Technic parts included. Each individual Bionicle set does not lend itself especially well to building alternate (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's? —Todd Kubo
Hello, I just finally signed up at Brickshelf and posted a small Bionicle MOC. (URL) not completely Original, there seems to be a picture of this on one of the Game Cards with Lewa. Just thought I'd try it out. And yes, I've begun to get reeled in (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) <snip> Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but a full instruction spread for the spider is in this month's Mania Magazine. They call him "Fikou, the tree spider." Looking closer at the instruction set, and your MOC, I do see a slight variance (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's? —Martin Scragg
As we don't have any of that stuff in Australia (yet!), I haven't seen then, so I had built what I thought was a pretty original idea. My version is just a foot (facing backwards, with the claws poked in the sides, then the 2 balls for eys at the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

(...) True, they don't do a whole lot, but two of the six Toa, Gali and Onua, are made where you can move both arms, and one, Pohatu, has a leg that moves (although this makes him even more prone to falling over). (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's? —Nick Huggins
(...) I've a MOC at (URL) feelings on it, though, are that it looks a lot like the "actual" toa, and less like something new. Requires more playing with, I think :) Nick. (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's? —Richard W. Schamus
(...) I've taken to mixing Throwbots, Roboriders, and the Toa's (of the same type; i.e. Granite, Dust, and Pohatu) into new creations. Ski, Frost, and Kopaka made 2 very interesting creations. Torch, Lava, Flare, and Tahu made 3 creations. You can (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)
