Yeh, I think I might have been dreaming.
I just found my copy of Autocar magazine from January of this year., where
they were running an off-road car design contet that has to use power-puller
wheels.
In there, they have an example (by Lego designers) that uses the silver
champion suspension.
It does look similar to the 8466 though - it might have been a prototype.
However, the suspension is clearly different to the 8466 as the yellow
shocks run horizontal, not vertical.

Anyway, I think the 8466 has to incorporate some new elements to be able to have independent suspension and steering while being so narrow. Well, it's not _that_ narrow, but if it had (...)
