I've done many of those functions with my McLaren F1 MOC...
1. It uses the white clutch gear for a limited-slip differential.
2. 1st gear acts as the hand brake for now :) .
3. It has inboard brakes for the rear... Couldn't find room for
calipers in the front. All the pedals (clutch, brake, throttle) in my
car use a combination of Lego string and flex cables.
4. Has a clutch design that uses friction of chain links against a small
wheel. So far I have not been able to find a clutch design that doesn't
add a lot of friction to the driveline.
5. Two of my favourite details of my MOC are the 6+reverse manual tranny
using flex cables, and camber adjustment of the wheels.
5. My favourite detail of my NSX MOC is the built-in air jack system.
... All details I doubt will ever show up in a Lego set!
