Re: Question on 8094 Control Center

The pen was available as a seperate item from some countries. It was not sold as a Lego piece, but as a Lego accesorry (along with lego apparel and other school-like supplies). "Geoffrey Hyde" <ghyde@ledanet.com.au> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Shame, Shame...."plastic" rubber tires in new technic

Those same wheels are found in the 3057 Create 'N Race. Cheesy is all I can say about them. feel just like the "imitation" brand but w/Lego logo on them. I hope these don't make a long stay in any of the lines. Fred (25 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Technic C-3P0: My First Impression

Yesterday I saw boxes of 8008, the Technic Stormtrooper, at the nearby TRU. I bought one, and when I opened the box, surpringly I found not a Stormtrooper, but a 8007 C-3P0 inside. No matter. I like C-3P0, too. After I built it, sadly I must say the (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

Re: New plastic "rubber" tire substitutions

(...) ... (...) Thanks for the heads up; I was actually going to purchase this set specifically for the black wheels (without the tires); since they aren't seperated from the tires they're of little use to me. D'oh. I may still need black wheels (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic)

Re: 8457 Error for The Bit program

Re: New plastic "rubber" tire substitutions

(...) Yes, these are hollow 1 piece ABS wheels (32146). They first appeared last year in the 3057 Create 'n' Race set. I suspect the reason that they are in the 8241 set is cost. After all it would be hared to expect 8 real tires in a set that only (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic)
