 | | Improving Mindstorms R2???

I just nabbed a second copy of the Mindstorms Droid Developer Kit[1], and I've been thinking about how to make a better R2, and what the functions should be. Then I realized I wasn't even sure what functions the reel R2 has... So, in the interests (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

The shocks in the Silver Champion ARE stiffer. The lever action is just how they happen to be used in the "Silver Champion" instructions. Or did I not understand your point? They are used without any lever action in the "Silver Truck" instructions. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

YES, the shocks on the silver champion are far stiffer...this is because it uses a lever action like real F1... Fredrik Glöckner <fredrik.glockner@bio.uio.no> wrote in message news:qrd4s0tl4ec.fsf....uio.no... (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

I don't think so - I seem to remember seeing this somewhere before, built with a humble RCX 1.0/5. Actually, if you look closely, you'll see it contains 2 RCXs, one below the other on an angle. Not much chance of TLC including 2 with the set.... (...) (25 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.technic)
