Re: what colors/sets does this part come in?

(...) Your colour choices are... Black from <set:8504> Tan from <set:8506> Purple from <set:8507> As for a previous post re:Slizer in Australia, Good luck. On the east coast, they're gone. I have some second hand though, email if interested. James (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

what colors/sets does this part come in?

Its a throwbot part (I think). It has a throwbot large towball on one end and the rest of the part looks sortta like a giant chainsaw blade. What sets does this part come in and what colors come in those sets? I ask because I need to get some for my (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

LEGO F1 cars a bad omen?

Pretty ironic isn't it? LEGO release their Silver Champion (Mika Hakkinen's McLaren/Mercedes 'Silver Arrow') and only weeks later the McLaren boys loose both driver's and constructor's championships.... Last year they did a yellow F1 car, more than (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Feedback on the Airtech Claw Rig (8868)

(...) Actually, I'd pick "young kids" as the most likely to perform the experiment. With "engineering undergrads" a close second, and "a scientist or researcher" a distant third ;-) I'd be leery of using a clothes washer: it seems likely that the (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Feedback on the Airtech Claw Rig (8868)

(...) I got a used Airtech Claw Rig from eBay for $150 and I have also seen some MISBs for around the same price, so $300 might be a bit too much. Still, if I had to pick one top Technic set of all time, this would be it... :-) The set I got was in (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technic Beams Needed

Did you try Pitsco? (URL) sell Technic beams in bulk. If you're not in the US, you might try your local LEGO DACTA dealer. -- Mark Haye, mark_haye(@)tivoli(.)com IBM TSM Server Development, Tucson, AZ (25 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Well, I haven't tried it, but if I were to, I'd go for a gentle/delicates cycle, cold water for wash and rinse, no extra spin, and use dishwasher soap instead of laundry soap.
