Not sure if you've seen them already but there are the dark grey ones as included in 8480 Space Shuttle and others, although they're 16-tooth gears, and not 8-tooth gears. Cheers ... (...) I think that is where I get a lot of my inspiration from, mainly the models of around 1980 or so, although I definitely prefer the wider selection of parts available nowadays. Not a lot more to add to the comments that are here already, all of which I agree with! It makes me want to go out and get a load of motors (I only have a couple) and start building some models with 'lives' of their own :-) Hope the thesis is coming (...)
