Hello all, I went to TRU this morning to see if I could get the UCS X-wing. They had one left but the box was opened and taped and generally looked bad. I asked an employee, that was restocking the Lego shelves a few feet away, if they had another (...)   Re: cable repair for 4.5v motor?

Hello, It is about 20-25 years ago when I last playede with my 4.5 volt motor, but I remember them very vell. You should be able to buy new "points" at any electronic-part shop. As I remember it they are "single" but I guess that the screw is the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Gear specs.

You should take a look at the ldraw program and the .dat files which accompany it. I have seen gears in there - see how they tackled the problem and take it from there. Also, from looking at my own gears here the teeth are not a straight pyramid (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Gear specs.

Hello,, I have a few questions about the Lego Technic Gears. I have tried to draw them in a 3D-CAD program but I can't get the good tooth- shape.   Re: Hobermann Sphere

I bought the Expert kit on sale at ZanyBrainy about 3 months ago. It has a certain "neato" factor. Its worth it for that but has its limitations. I found an 8860 on eBay, (URL) bid on it a few times (it was less than 1/2 what it is now) I'd go higher, but I've bought too much recently, so thought I'd let a fellow LUGr get it. SRC (25 years ago, 10-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.technic)
