Looking at that item brought me a bit of nostalgia - I still have my original
set from 1980 or thereabouts. I had no idea there was such a demand for it
now, although it certainly is a great model, in particular I loved the movable
and reclining seats, something I feel is missing in the 8448. I'm in the mood
for going and building it now :-)

| (...) Hi, This particular set was a trigger to bring me out of my "dark ages" for a brief time. My Mom gave my brother and myself each a set for Christmas and I had great fun. At the time my car was an old VW beetle and this chassis appeared to be (...) (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)
