Acording to technica the large plates come in red, green, yellow, black and silver (soon to be released) These colors are also available for the small plates. You therefore could make a black 8448, a silver (when the bits come out) 8448, a yellow (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.technic)

But the bad thing is that it has everything BUT the 8417 wheels in the pack. I have too many balloon tires and small Technic tires, and I don't want more track. Don't get your hopes up that high! It won't replace a $500 camera! I read a Lego-Logitech press release on 6/28 that said it was a Logitech QuickCam. (Formerly Connectix QuickCam.)
