That set has been, IMHO, (next to the 8431 Crane Truck re-issue) the best
"really big" technic set in recent years (mindstorms doesnt count as technic)

The 8466 has so many good attributes:
1.a fair few studded beams, including the (exclusive to that set) l-shaped
studded beam (its like 2 1x4 beams joined at right angles)
2.good specialist parts (like the 4x4 suspension parts for example)
3.a really cool color (LEGO, please make more parts in Metalic Green)
4.most of the studless parts are in black which makes them easier to use in
a moc (since black is a Neutral color & goes well with most of the common
techinc colors)
and 5.the set provides a good way to get hold of some of the newer parts
(like the new bevel gears for example and some of the new connector styles)
