  Re: 8448 Hydraulic system

(...) If you do a search here on LUGNET, you will see that a lot of people have reported the same problem. It is a very common failure of the pneumatic part. The solution is simple. Just call up LEGO locally in your country, and they will send you (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  8448 Hydraulic system

This is very SAD !!!! I think one of my 8448 (Super Street Sensation) Hydraulic system is broken. (The one that's used for gull wing, not sure what part number... Anyone know??) Somehow the spring goes inside the tube whenever I push in (It's not (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Solo Speeder

(...) Very nice! I couldn't recognize the piece that connects the seats belt to the upper side of the seat. (to <part:2825 Technic Liftarm 1 x 4>). Can you tell me where it's from? - David (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Solo Speeder

Greetings! With all the hover-thingies for the contest in lugnet.space, I got inspired and made a little speeder, but in Technic scale just for the fun of it (Paul's contest is minifig scale only). It's a teeny model but turned out pretty cool: (URL) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Ngarehu

Well I have started a little anti Toa project of my own.  I am going to be putting up a full website, but figured I would have a little teaser picture to start. Ngarehu is one of the Atua Ngau, twisted mockeries of the Toa created by Makuta. Like (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Beat Felber's New MOC

(...) it's (...) Thanks! Now I see that it's really very simple, I just didn't get the right idea from the text at Beat's sight. - David (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: Beat Felber's New MOC

(...) The "Adjustable Stick" is the long straight "arm" that is connected to the end of the bucket, or dipper. Anyway, the stick can be moved "in-and-out" along its length. The cables that Beat is talking about on his website will move the stick in (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

(...) Hey Dave, my Cankerworm uses Bionicle in the neck! (Shameless plug #2!!!) (URL) outta here! Later, Bryce (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Beat Felber's New MOC

(...) An absolutely amazing model! This is the kind of stuff I read the news group for. I didn't get the 'Adjustable Stick' part though - why it's needed and how it's implemented. Can anyone explain that part in more detail? Thanks, David (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Fluting the rules Re: Onward to le-koro

(...) I have a similar problem. When I click on the flute, it goes into my inventory but then I can't do anything with it, I can't move it or use it or anything it just stays in there. I've tried repeating the episode using that convenient button (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

(...) Don't feel bad, Mark. I do it too. It's the one Lego piece that shouldn't exist, but I believe it gave birth to the part we both love-the Bionicle ball with axlehole. I know you had used this part, that's why I didn't mention it in the first (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

Oh sorry, I didn't know you were referring to that pieces. ;-) Still, I'm a *bit* of a purist, and think that type of stuff is still wrong. (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Heavy Armed Lewa

I guess this is the debut of my Bionicle Brickshelf gallery.(URL) first MOC Toa is actually a Heavily Armed Lewa. Realizing that the Rahi were becoming to powerful, Lewa upgraded himself to match them. He's made up of 2 Lewa, and the Pit Droid, and (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

(...) I didn't chop up the regular ball-joint limbs, just the useless Throwbot Throwing arm (the one that fires the disc) If you know how to "work around" those, I'd sure like to see some ideas, because there's no studs or technic holes or nothin'. (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Beat Felber's New MOC

(...) I'd certainly go along with that, I particulary like the extra large picture's which show all the detail. My favourite picture is the one shot underneath. It gives you the feeling that your standing under the real thing! It would be nice to (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: Site updated

(...) Well' I wouldn't consider my approach particulary scientific :-). I've fitted the 2 gear motors and it's a big improvement but not in the way you would expect. I repeated the pulling test and the transmisson gives in long before the motors do, (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Site updated

(...) I didn't carefully read the rest of this thread, so the following may be redundant. I've been collecting links to info about Technic motors. I too have been pondering the age-old question, "which motor is better?". Anyway, here are a bunch of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Site updated

(...) Sorry, I think it was just something in my mail correspondence with him. He used to have the motors connected to an amp meter, to check for stalling and so on. He compared the power consumption of each motor type under various loads, and (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wal Mart Promo
