Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

Would be glad to compare notes. Directly I have finished the tests I'll get back to you. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.dacta)

Re: Additional set with old-style 9v motor

(...) Arg...thanks for pointing that out. Pretty stupid of me to leave that one out, considering I have it...LOL Anyway this is a very nice set for parts: it contains the 9V motor and micromotor as you said, 6 electric cables of various lengths (2 (...)   Re: Yet another use for 7106

(...) Jennifer, you are a total nerd. Lego, Star Trek, the whole package. Why didn't I meet you before I got married. Life is so unfair sometimes :( (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Bionicle Reference Chart

I put the chart together becuase I could never remember what characters where associated with other characters and places. It was getting confusing when the villagers were talking to me and they were using all of these different names. I placed the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Yet another use for 7106

(...) Indeed, or even carve the molds from wood. I think the most difficult bit would be making attachment points for the Technic pieces, although it may be possible to glue pieces of standard parts onto it for this purpose. (...)   Re: Yet another use for 7106

(...) The oven seems to work well too from what I remember, and I'm sure it fitted the mould rather well after being roasted for a while. I have no idea if this is proper procedure, however. Jennifer Clark (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: looking for inventories of 8064 & 9v power pack

(...) You said that what you wanted was to obtain experience as to how the motor can be used. So why don't you just start building one of the models in the 8064 and see how far you get? You don't actually need to build all the models included there. (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Additional set with old-style 9v motor

(...) Don't forget set 8082. Includes one micromotor, one non-geared regular 9-v motor, 2 polarity witches and plenty of cable. This set can sometimes be picked up at Ebay for ok prices and is pretty useful for all walks of technic activity. (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.db.inv)

  Never seen this model before

Hi together! I saw some new models for september so far, but at this link there are some sort of bionicle machines which are new to me and which could not be seen on the official legosite: (URL) looks like machines with remote control (according to (...)   Re: The bodge and it's use in Technic Construction

(...) Here's one: inserting the studs of one beam into the axle holes of a Technic beam. They're not designed to fit properly, and the parts will actually deform over time if left long enough. (26 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

(...) Thanks for the information. I'm going to see if I can get hold of one of these... (...) I use pneumatics mainly where brute strength is needed rather than smooth motion, such as the raising/lowering mechanism on a crane (although this (...)   Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

(...) Thanks for the identification of the tire pressure gauge. I reckon the stores will soon be doing a brisk trade in them. But I would hesitate to use the word *calibrate* - the pressure sensor is a far more delicate device than the tire gauge. (...) Hi Jonathon If you build the 4 models in the instructions, re-using parts if you've already used them, or adding from your collection as required, you should end up with a close approximation of the set's inventory.   Re: looking for inventories of 8064 & 9v power pack
