Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

(...) Thanks for the identification of the tire pressure gauge. I reckon the stores will soon be doing a brisk trade in them. But I would hesitate to use the word *calibrate* - the pressure sensor is a far more delicate device than the tire gauge. (...) Hi Jonathon If you build the 4 models in the instructions, re-using parts if you've already used them, or adding from your collection as required, you should end up with a close approximation of the set's inventory. (...) That's something you can NEVER do in LEGO! I'm sure it won't take long for someone to prove me wrong. Modified parts don't count :-). Steve Lane (25 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: looking for inventories of 8064 & 9v power pack

(...) Why do you need the inventory for the whole of the set, anyway? If what you want to do is to build one of the models, you can just check if you have the parts needed for that model. Fredrik (25 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.db.inv)

  Bionicle Reference Chart

I was having trouble keeping up with all of the names and places when I was playing the game on-line, so I made up and printed out a little chart for myself and it helped me out a lot.   Motor with Gear Reduction ??!??

Hi all, Looking through the Pitsco Dacta catalog, I happened to see a 9V Motor with Gear Reductino listed for $16.25. Does anybody have any information about this item? It appears smaller than the standard 9V motor, which makes me think that it (...) (25 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Here's a pic of one of my brother's MOC's from last summer that I stumbled across in my misc. images folder last night: it's a fully functional Macintosh Powerbook Duo 230, re-cased in a whole bunch of black Technic beams.
