Does anybody know the story behind 8847?

I was putting together 8847 (Dragster, 1983) the other day and my instructions called for a universal joint to connect the two runs of the steering column. However, the main model picture, peeron inventory, and brickshelf scan indicate that a (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Dennis Bossman's crane

I think that truck and crane is better than any of the ones on the brickshelf site. I can't say that I have enough money to buy it, but I like it. Does the trailer detach in the front to load the crane? You might like some of my projects. (URL) (20 years ago, 15-Sep-04, to lugnet.technic)
