  Re: Mechanical Automatic Transmission

I realize this thread is really old but I just got interested in it. I was wondering how to download the instructions. I downloaded MLCAD which, as I see it, needs .dat files and all I can get are .txt files. This is coming from an extreme newbie (...) (22 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic)

This is 2 (out of 4 total now) of my Technic scale buildings: (URL) Church is the most complete; the cross on top is NOT Lego, but a glow-in-the dark cross my dad got when he was in Sunday school.   2002 Technic line - opinions?

I recieved the Fall 2002 S&H catalog a few days ago and was browsing through the Technic section, and there were a few things that caught my attention. More specifically, the 8472 Mud 'n' Street Racer and the 8475 RC Race Buggy look interesting. I (...) (22 years ago, 14-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Hammer Help

Thanks for the response. I've decided to stay away from string on the robot as string can get easily entangled, especially if battling another robot. I took a break from trying a design using gears and differentials - I was getting really (...) (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Hammer Help

winding and unwinding string seems to be to slow if i understand it good so my idea is here: use two wheels (pulleys) especiali as big as you can put into your design they should be with flat surface so it meand they should be from old sets like: (...)   Re: MOC: Marine Pedestal Crane

(...) Thanks! It's a very solid model. I'm often surprized at how well it stays together. I can pic it up (fully assembled) at the base, and move it around easily.   Re: MOC: Marine Pedestal Crane

(...) Thank you! I don't know about the best of the year award, there have been many other great MOCs announced this year. (Jennifer's AC50 crane would get my vote ;-) Perhaps a poll is in order? Well, I'm glad you got to see the crane in person, (...) (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: MOC: Marine Pedestal Crane
