Re: T.j's right, you can never have too many cranes

Wow! But then again... wow. Do you live near Jennifer? Or is there a Baldwin sponsors Lego models deal that I don't know about? Can't wait to see more pictures..... Duq "Steven lane" <steveroblane@aol.com> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Yes, and so is Jennifer! (...) Excellent model!!! That's damn nice! I love the cab shape, I think you did a good job with it. And I agree about the windscreens, they do look much better as you've done them. That thing must be a monster, how long is (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Wire sandwich (was Re: Making 7u axles)

(...) Didn't work :-( But 4 1x1 round plates supporting a 2x2 plate leave enough room to squeeze a wire through :-) William (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

(...) Perhaps I could help a bit here from first-hand experience with the 8466. After much debate, I had decided not to buy the RC car (129.99) for motorizing the 8466. So instead I tried it with the rcx and/or standard battery pack (as seen in (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Chassis

(...) Yes. I have an axle across the frame like a normal anti-roll bar with levers on the ends connected to the axle with the long ball-link arms from the F1. It is really effective. You model sounds most impressive! I tried the Pitman arm and drag (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Questions about the first version of the control center console

(...) I think these are not original, so you will have to open the case to see where they end. This will tell you what you can safely do with them. Or if not, you can post another pic of the opened case ... Greetings Horst (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  NWBrickCon on Nickelodeon

In an amazing twist of fate, I was contacted by Nickelodeon so they could do a spot for NWBrickCon. The spot will be on "In Play Today," a segment that happens during commercial breaks and in between programs. Look for the spot on Oct 4, at various (...)   Re: Iveco Eurostar with extensible trailer

Its very very simple how the steering works. If you ever have taken a good look on the fifth wheel on a truck, (europian ones not sure about US trucks) there are a little cutout piece in the rear, and behind the king pin (the pin on the trailer (...)   Re: Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

Installing motors into an 8448 is simple. In fact, they make room for 2 motors. (one in the front, one in the back). If you want to add the third and keep the gull wing doors, you'll have to do some modification, but not too much, to fit 2 motors (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

It seems that a lot of people here, did this already. I have 8448, and I really wonder which extra set that would be a good combo to make my 8448 as a remote control car. Some people did this with Mindstorm, but I read a couple post below that you (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Making 7u axles

(...) Aaaargh! Before doing that, consider sandwiching wires between 2 of these (URL) done this many times and it works well, without the need for evil mods! ROSCO (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
