It seems that a lot of people here, did this already.
I have 8448, and I really wonder which extra set that would be a good
combo to make my 8448 as a remote control car.
Some people did this with Mindstorm, but I read a couple post below that
you need 1 motor for streering, and about + - 3 motors for driving
(travel + - 15 mph).
It seems to me that most advance technic car are huge, and the friction
for the gearbox + others(such as engine) seems to be a lot, to be
powered by a single lego motor.
Anyone tried combine it with 8475?
I really wonder how fast can you go with it. (with/without gearbox)
What is the remote control range? Is it easy to install/plug it into
any advance technic car such as 8448 or 8466?
I think it's a bit pricy for 283 pieces at 129.99. But what do you guys
think?
Let us know your if you have any commentc regarding putting together

| Installing motors into an 8448 is simple. In fact, they make room for 2 motors. (one in the front, one in the back). If you want to add the third and keep the gull wing doors, you'll have to do some modification, but not too much, to fit 2 motors (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
