  RE: Automatic sorting

(...) Terry, consider using the PLAN0 37xx boxes. Two of them, (one with special mods) will hold an entire Mindstorms set. They are more transparent than the two sided box. Also, sometimes Walmart has the softsided PLANO tackle bag (black) with (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Automatic sorting

I'm about to start teaching a robotics class for 7th and 8th graders and will have 6 Mindstorms kits. I just got one of the PLANO 1126 boxes at KMart for $9.90 These boxes have two sides: Good, but how about looking for stuff?? Can you who use these (...)   RE: Automatic sorting

(...) Hmmm, During my "acquisition" phase, I would buy Technic, bring it home, open the box and sort into PLANO tackle boxes. I would rarely build things because I needed "a few more of xyz before I got started" This worked for about a year.... Now (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Wohoo!!! Sorted it all!

Well, kind of, only my black, grey, blue and yellow. Now, the white ones are elft, and they are *many*! I would like to know how you store your lego, I use some storage boxes that I think are intended to use with nails, they are called "raaco (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Automatic sorting

I've purchased a system like this. It is four plastic boxes with square holes that decrease in size from the top tray to the bottom tray. It is not made by Lego. It wasn't cheap... maybe $20, possibly more. But it is handy, to some extent. When (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Automatic sorting

I've just patched together a "system" for automatic sorting of Lego, and I wonder whether anyone has tried to do the same - maybe with better results. The idea is to have a series of boxes, one on top of the other. Each box has a net as its bottom. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)

Re: tuff 'tainer storage (was Re: help me spend some money!)

I guess both storage boxes have their place. The WorkForce box is embossed for non-slip stacking, and its largest compartment holds an RCX. One box holds an entire 8480 Space Shuttle kit with some care in packing. Al Thiele (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.robotics)

I hate to be completely A.R., but what does everyone think is the better storage method: attached or loose? Do attached bricks get used to being attached and loose their "snap"? Do loose bricks get scratched faster than attached bricks? KL (...) (25 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.storage)

tuff 'tainer storage (was Re: help me spend some money!)
