I've purchased a system like this...
...  I don't know if that
gives you any ideas on how you may improve your system.

I've got plenty ideas, the time to implement them is another matter :-(

I'm sure the commercial system has been discontinued.
I'm guessing it was a colossal failure in the marketplace.

I guess there aren't enough interested Lego builders. A pity, really. Now,
if Lego could be convinced to integrate something like it into their bucket
or other storate sets... I doubt the result would be significantly more
expensive to manufacture, and people who buy these sets are interested by
definition.

If anyone is interested in obtaining one, there may
be one or two left at the small, independent
toy store where I bought mine.
Let me know, and I'll swing by the store and
take a peek and see if they still have any.

Thanks for the offer, but I doubt the trouble of shipping to Israel would be
justified. And anyway, building my own is much more fun - isn't that what's
Lego is all about? :-)

Have fun,

I've purchased a system like this. It is four plastic boxes with square holes that decrease in size from the top tray to the bottom tray. It is not made by Lego. It wasn't cheap... maybe $20, possibly more. But it is handy, to some extent. When (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.storage)
