Re: New mosaic: Portrait of 3 boys

(...) Interesting. I don't have that background, but I may have to mess around in PSP and see what I can accomplish. (...) That's a neat setup. (...) Hmm, I typically end up dragging the blue bins off the shelf and setting them around me at my build (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: A Monumental Task

(...) I don't envy your task Steve. This summer, when my wife and I bought our first house, I had to move a similarly sized collection. I was fortunate in that we only moved 15 minutes away. (...) Since the majority of my collection is in 3033 sized (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  RE: A Monumental Task

(...) Good luck with the move. Beware masking tape and the evils of what the adhesive will do when left in contact with some plastics! I second the suggestion for using plastic shipping wrap. Sure, it's ecologically bad, but it is recyclable. (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: A Monumental Task

(...) Another good way of transporting already sorted bricks is to just wrap the entire storage bin in plastic wrap a few times. I did this with all of mine when I moved, and I didn't lose a single brick. It also saved me a ton of time. I didn't (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage)

  A Monumental Task

In preperation for my move from theeth chattering, bone chilling, people don't know how to drive in the winter, Detroit, to the more mild weather, laid back, quiet lifestyle in the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina, I have the monumental task of (...)   Re: Storage Cart Deal

(...) Thanks Adrian, I'll have to get a few if I can. Mat (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Storage Cart Deal

Saw this in a Sunday newspaper ad for Office Depot (URL) The carts shown measure 27x13x15-1/2 (HxWxD in inches) in both four and six drawer versions. The "buy one get one free" offer end Oct 30th. Adr. (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) It is now. (...) I can't help you with tens of thousands, sorry. (...) I hate it when that happens (...) That's normal. The obvious solution would be to stop them coming, but excluding kids from your Lego collection seems a bit selfish and (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

On Thu, October 7, 2004 8:00 am, Peter Roberts said: (...) Are you going to make that folder public? I really need to think up storage for our Lego. I know we are in the tens of thousands. I have a number of transparent plastic bins, some sorter (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

Here are some pictures of my storage system (post mod.) to reward your efforts of looking through them, I thought I'd chuck in a preview pic. for my upcoming moc. Sorry if the pictures are a bit large. (URL) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) It's scary thinking of a Lego collection that makes that a challenge (...) I said I was {under 18} not 18. That black bin did it for me too. I can remember when I started sorting a while back and my brother said, 'You should sort by colour, (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) I was wondering if anyone used those. That was my original plan for storgae back when I was about 10 and tried sorting it. I never got very far though... I had a lot less Lego then. (...) Same as mine... But you already knew that. I'll try to (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) Ahhh, memories. (...) Dang, I missed my cue. "Ahhh, memories." :) The closest I can come is fitting all my Lego into one room-- but that hasn't happened in a few years :) (...) Huh! Interesting considering that 18 was the age that I switched (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) It's fun being under 18 and able to live without worryng about accomodation ;). On the other hand, it's bad being under 18 because my mum says I have so much Lego that I'm not allowed to buy any more until I leave home. (...) True (...) The (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

Re: How I store my Lego

Re: How I store my Lego

(...) Heh, I dunno, I bet most people spend a good chunk of change on storage systems. I've easily tallied up over $700 worth just now out of curiosity. I've got 28 slotted slotted sorty-bins worth about $230, 43 tupperware bins worth about $363.50, (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

  How I store my Lego

I thought I'd tell people about my Lego storage system... Because I can and because it might be useful for people if they want to make their own. My storage system is probably more expensive than yours. It cost about £87 (c.$156) (Including boxes). (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: Luis Baixinho's storage solution?

(...) Hi, David I've got the store cabinets on various locals stores and as far i know, they are made here, in portugal. But i think there are similar things in US. They are metallic and the recipients are plastic, the only thing that i didn't like (...) (20 years ago, 5-Oct-04, to lugnet.storage)

  Luis Baixinho's storage solution?
