        Re: B-Wing Review —Eric Kingsley
You beat me to it! I have been waiting to get a B-Wing so I could compair it to mine: (URL) doubt I will rate the model quite as high as you because just from the picture I see some things I don't like but then again I am biased having built one (...)          Re: B-Wing Review —James Simpson
(...) Your B-Wing is definitely superior to the Lego one. As I said, the set is a fair representation of the ship (minus the engine compartment), although the ship itself is a bit unsubstantial compared to the "real" thing. The Lego version just (...)          Re: B-Wing Review —Eric Kingsley
(...) Wow! Now thats saying something. Does that include the Snow Speeder and the X-Wing as well? I personal don't expect to be as impressed this time around as I was with those to sets. As far as the B-Wing goes I expect to like it for what it is (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

         Re: B-Wing Review —Jeff Stembel
(...) I certainly am not. Both the A-Wing and B-Wing are awful models, IMO. They are tiny, flimsy and rather ugly, especially when compared to just about every MOC I've seen of them. Of course, I'm biased because of my MOCs, which are two of the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

          Re: B-Wing Review —James Simpson
(...) I'll be the first to admit that none of the Lego EP1 sets hold a candle to the MOCs that have been posted here. (In fact, probably the only Lego SW set that holds its own with some folk's MOCS is the X-Wing.) I'm just saying that, for (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

         Re: B-Wing Review —James Simpson
(...) Actually, you have a very good point regarding the X-Wing & Snowspeeder. Here is how I'd rate the SW sets that I own: X-Wing: Best Model Interpretation. The X-Wing is the most accurate of all the ships, IMO Snowspeeder: Most Ingenious Use of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

        Re: B-Wing Review —Ryan Dennett
(...) My parents love taking the bags out of the box and taping them up so there isn't a rattle to be heard. I hate it...in a way :) There is such a beautiful sound when you shake a Lego box. :) Ryan (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

        Re: B-Wing Review —Steve Bliss
(...) [Snipped review, if you haven't read, go do so!] Very well-done review. I agree with everything you said. This is a great set. It's the first SW set to feature a 'building'. Well, at least sort of. The ship is sizeable, the parts are good, the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

In lugnet.starwars, Steve Bliss writes: <snip> (...) The SW answer: Astromech droids are used for more than just co-piloting starfighters. They are also programmed to assist with computers, repairs, and other mundane tasks that humans may not want (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)

        Re: B-Wing Review —Mike Petrucelli
(...) ship. Funny, I thought the fact that the set included another RED astromech was great. With all the RD-D2s it is nice to have a set (other than the Y-wing) with a red one to add variation. 4 different astromechs can be made with 2 blues and (...)         Re: B-Wing Review —James Simpson
(...) I stand corrected! Another item of note is that the red B-Wing flight-suit torso is the exact same design as the traditional orange flightsuit, while the green A-Wing flight suit is a new design. (24 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews)
