First let me point you to the official Mindfest Web Site...

Basically Mindfest is an event being put on by MIT from OCT 22-24 with a
primarily Mindstorms/Technology focus but there will also be quite alot of
general LEGO stuff there as well (Includeing lost of Robotics and General
stuff from NELUG http://www.nelug.org).
Currently the Web Site says that Registration is full but if you really want to
go you should E-mail them directly to see if any spots have openned up. There
is probably at least a chance that you could still make it.
