  Naboo Fighter Comments/Storm Trooper Minifigs?

I picked up the Naboo fighter last night (so far the only Ep. 1 set I have) and I have to say I like it a lot. I like yellow bricks so maybe that's why it appeals to me. I suspect it will eventually turn into some sort of airplane though. Question: (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Yes you get the Storm Troopers in one of the classic sets, The Speederbikes, there's 2 on the bikes. I'd love to get a bunch of these, though my lego budget has been shot to hell and back with buying all the other sets and a few dups of the bigger (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I thought those were the Storm Troopers from the first movie? Maybe I need to rent the movie again tonight if they have it in! What do the Storm Troopers look like then? Tamy (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Naboo Fighter Comments/Storm Trooper Minifigs?

Storm Troopers are the standard shock troops. Their helmets don't have the hood thing at the top, their eye holes are smaller, and the helmet is somewhat more rounded. Also, the body armour is heavier, although a minifig won't show that. Actually, (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Try wrapping a small piece of paper around the pegs before attaching the pieces. It won't stop the wiggling, but it should reduce it greatly. Steve (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Look in the catalog at the "Star Wars" theme design they have. To the Right of Vader is a guy in a white suit. That is a Storm Trooper. The Scout Troopers are from Return of the Jedi, when they're on Endor. Out of curiosity, does anyone know (...) (26 years ago, 7-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) It shouldn't be. Stormtrooper were more heavily armored, especially through the midsection, where Scout Troopers only have cloth padding. The chest part of the paintjob might work, though. eric (26 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) yeh they did but not on their bikes. You'll also need some At-STs(3) with a bunch of cute fuzy ewoks, Leia, Han, Chewie, Rebs(and no the orange suited ones won't work:).
