| | | | | I doubt it. The original TIE Fighter (set 7146) has 169 elements and the TIE bomber has 229 elements. I'm sure the Vader's TIE had fewer elements than the TIE bomber. The original TIE/f design didn't have the black 2x3 wedge plates to make it a true hexagon instead of an octagon. Instead, the 2x4 (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jul-04, to lugnet.starwars)

The original TIE Fighter set was only 169 (the wings are big, but pretty low on part quantity), and just over 20 of those parts are the parking pole and the Stormie, so figure it at about 145 per TIE, and (...) The big surprise is they included a TIE/D (Tie Droid) instead of a TIE/I (Interceptor) as the 4th model - the TIE/D is an expanded universe craft, and has not shown up in any movies (unless this (...)
