The trench run is fine as it stands, ship-wise.
They can tweak the maneuvers, but the addition
of new ships to the central action would serve no artistic purpose and would
only be yet another example of art-as-slave-to-marketing.

It would be lame.  Not as lame as Greedo-shoots-first, but lame.

Dave!

I totally agree with you, mr. Schuler, it would be lame.
Indeed, íf the TIE/D is added to the Trilogy, it would be like you said; another
example of art-as-slave-to-marketing...

EU sets! :-)
If not however, I wonder how much more of the Trilogy has been altered for
DVD... How about the possible addition of -for example- an old, modified Z-95
Headhunter -piloted by Mara Jade- which flies in next to Han and shoots the
TIE/D to clear the path for Han so the story can continue it's 'natural' way?

Of course it would be nice to see TLC release a set like the Incom/Subpro Z-95,
but not if it'd be a result of Lucasfilm having scr*wed up the Classic Trilogy
(again...!) :-(

Well, let us have some faith in The Force!
(For the time being, it is still a matter of wait-and-see. Hmmm)

Greetings, Erik Boons

There have even been rumors that the ending of ROTJ has been altered to put a
"younger" looking Anakin in place of the one we are so used to (during the
"ghost" scene with Yoda, OB-1, and Anakin). A few pictures were floating around,
but have all since been taken off, strengthening the fact that the rumor may be
true. After all, if it was a Photoshop job, then why would someone have to take
it off their website? Just food for thought.....
