Standout has to be set 7139 Ewok Attack. Best value non-figpack figpack in
the range. Cool pieces include the stormie and scout, two Stubbies(c),
hang-glider wings and half a tree's worth of brown bricks. Ewok head-piece
may be the crummiest effort by the SW Lego design team so far, though we're
still waiting on Jabba.

Other sets:
7119 Twin Pod Cloud-Car
Did Lobot have three minutes of screen time, or was it four? Did he blow up
the second Death Star? Was he even named in the credits to ESB? Am I being a
bit stupid here, or wouldn't a _Twin_ Pod be the perfect set to contain
_two_ figs? Great set, if a tad over ventilated, good part selection, sweet
to see the rust red, but WE WANT LANDO DAGNABBIT!! Make him yellow, make him
brown, make him both, but make up your minds Lego, before Mace Windu brings
down some furious vengeance on your backside.

7200, 7201 Final Duel
Nice source of figs, but truly an obscene price for the parts you get. Doubt
whether 7200 will be flying off the shelves, although it will be the first
small retail set to have Vader. I imagine people will be getting multiples
of 7201 for the Stormie and the officer. Is this the first grey cap to
appear in a Lego set? Multiple officers will make for an accurate recreation
of RotJ since they'll all have the same insignia. I reckon there will be
some much more attractive sources for stormies down the track (Dino style
Dewback anyone?) so I wouldn't be stocking up on such a poor value set.

7203, 7204 Jedi Defense
Much better price/piece than 7200, 7201. Cute rendition of the destroyer
droid, not sure if I'd pay $7 for two of them and such a lame rendition of
Obi-Wan --I'd much prefer another brown hood to a torso with a food stain, I
mean padawan braid. 7204 is good for battle-droid completists I suppose. Cue
recycled whinge about how battledroids and Gungans _could_ have been very
cool. Unfortunately we had "Roger roger, I'll fall apart now" and "Meesa not
so smart as human".

7194 UCS Yoda
I think a sweet inventory and a very cool model will see this little fellow
appearing on my birthday wish list.

8009 Technic Artoo, 8010 "Technic" Vader
Sigh. I suppose they complement the equally poor Threepio and Stormie.

Not wanting to end on a negative note, can I say how much I'm looking
forward to the Episode II sets? SW Lego has been such a strong and
relatively consistent product line -- I can't wait for more!

gets his due)

(...) Amen, brutha. Or they could have at least put a TPCC *pilot* in the TPCC (...) ... and that's why they're so expensive. ;^) (...) Me too! The Star Wars line has been the best thing for parts in the last few years, IMO. (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

<SNIP> (...) <long SNIP> (...) I got tired of waiting for the Lando minifigure too, so I made my own. One yellow head Town guy with mustache, black male hairpiece, yellow hands, Sam Sanister torso, grey pants and a grey cloak make Rebel General (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)
