Although I have to agree that it is definitely an R2 unit, I really think it
was Lego's attempt at making hte R4-D5 without having to create a whole new
mini-fig. I don't remember the details of the movie well enough to really
remember which droid rode in the Y-Wing, but I do remember a R2-ish looking
thing with a flat "head".
